Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our Learning and Development department. We are looking for a talented individual with relevant skills and experience for Management Trainee : Learning & Development role, which is based in Midrand, Head Office. The successful candidate will report directly to the Country Lead : Capability & Skills Development.
KEY PURPOSE
The successful candidate will undergo a 12 months formal training programme to gain knowledge and experience in Learning & Development in order to prepare for a management position within CCBSA. To supports the development, implementation and consistent application of CCBSA Learning & development strategic priorities, to ensure required competence exists in the organisation, enabling the achievement of its long term growth strategy.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Learning & Development infrastructure development
- Drives the implementation of the development infrastructure, in anticipation of need, including career paths, capability frameworks, competency definition, curricula design, critical learning interventions and systems.
- Develops and manages relationships with external partners in country, such as educational institutions.
- Supports the alignment of Learning & Development processes, practices, frameworks and tools in the Business, as appropriate.
- Implements and reviews effective Learning & Development metrics, to drive and support the business performance.
- Provides regular feedback of training material quality, effectiveness and data integrity with the L&D Team Lead.
- Implements integrated on boarding process, programs and tools for the business.
Competence Development
- Develop deep understanding of organisation’s operating model, with specific focus on the Business’s functional areas.
- Implements Group-wide Learning solutions, working in conjunction with other functional leaders and specialists.
- Supports the on-the-ground implementation, entrenchment and monitoring of competency guide processes, guides, progress and gaps for the business.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of learning methodologies, including ROI on interventions in country.
- Provides L&D support in line with business needs
- Ensures optimal organisation and individual development within the business. Governance
- Records, analyses and communicates L&D data and trends, in country, to the Country Lead.
- Ensures legislative and governance compliance in all aspects of Learning & Development in country.
Skills, Experience & Education
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Minimum requirement: Relevant Bachelor's Degree, with post graduate HR qualification, or equivalent.
- Minimum requirement: 3 – 5 years Learning & Development experience, or equivalent.
- Minimum requirement: 3 – 5 years sales or commercial experience
- Excel and Powerpoint skills at Intermediate to advanced level.
- 3 – 5 years experience in training material development & training course facilitation
- Experience in large business project rollouts across a national footprint
