A recognised qualification at NQF Level 6/7 in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Public Management, Financial Management, Business Management or a relevant field.
Minimum 10 years’ experience, of which 3-5 years must be at the Assistant Director level.
Valid driver’s license.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office package).
Knowledge of relevant legislation, PSBC resolutions, and directives.

Duties :
Manage overall administration and support departments, including security, facilities management, cleaning, creche, food services, linen, transport and IT services. • Manage human resources and promote training and development of staff. • Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans, operational plans, and action plans
Manage budgets in line with government regulations and monitor compliance with service level agreements
Promote sound labour practices and maintain labour peace through engagement with relevant stakeholders, including organised labour
Provide advice and guidance aligned with the vision, mission, and objectives of the Department.
Monitor and ensure effective implementation of departmental policies.
Liaise with key stakeholders to advance the interests of the department
Ensure the facility is compliant with Occupational Health and Safety and environmental health for staff and users
Promote ethical leadership and governance structures
Monitor infrastructure and maintenance plans and their implementation
Ensure that security protocols and internal control measures are implemented and adhered to.
