Honours degree or four-year professional degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, Community Engagement, IKS or any other relevant fields, coupled with at least seven (7) years’ relevant experience, at least three of which should be at supervisory level. Masters and PhD will serve as an added advantage
DUTIES
Initiate and support Community Engagement (CE) reviews and evaluation for societal impact.
Support the development of an annual report for CE-Societal impact.
Ensure prudent reporting on CE project relevance, responsiveness, and impact.
Manage and coordinate internal CE project (with academics) and external interactions (research and engagement sites) for societal impact.
Support academic evidence collection and updating the CE database updates.
Support compliance with the University ‘s approved policies, procedures and practices relating to CE.
Support grant proposal writing. Perform other related duties as assigned.
