    Manager - CVM Prepaid Marketing

    • The ideal candidate will be accountable for creating customer bease segmentation & other Relevant data models for prepaid CVM related activities

    Key Performance Areas: 

    Strategy

    • Design segmentation models keeping intconsideration cultural diversity within the country. T  improve performance and engagement level of customer’s segmentation plays a very vital role.
    • Create statistical models tenhance business performance.
    • Create models timprove Revenue as well as customer market share.

    Delivery

    • Use sophisticated statistical techniques tdevelop customer segmentation model based on Value, 

    Value change & Usage Behavioural.

    • Use historical data tcreate churn prediction, Inactivity,Multi SIM, Propensity & RFM (Recency,  Frequency Monetory) models tpredict customer behaviour & create segmentation.
    • Create profiles of customers and other analytically based information in day tday operations.
    • Create logical and physical data models using best practices tensure high data quality and   reduced redundancy.
    • Deliver insightful analyses on customer behavior and customer segmentation, customer profiles,   existing, new products and services.
    • Analysis on products, segments, customers, market, sales & distribution, usage, airtime, sales   performance etc.

    Capability

    • Strong analytics and problem solving skills.
    • As a BI expert the person will need tdemonstrate a good Business Intelligence (BI) background   and data driven solutions. 
    • Knowledge of the telecoms sector specifically for prepaid business.
    • Able tlearn technical concepts quickly and apply them effectively in the workplace
    • Expert in SAS (EMiner, EGuide, base), SPSS and SQL Tools.
    • Excellent interpersonal, networking, and stakeholder’s engagement skills

    • Create and manage a high performing team

    Supervisory / Leadership / Managerial Complexity:  

    • Manage and coordinate the activities of his team
    • Build professionalism, loyalty and commitment tthe organization
    • Display insight intleadership style and how it impacts on performance positively and negatively
    • Ensure communication and fundamental understanding of strategy elements tall teams
    • Ensure ongoing liaison with other areas of the business 
    • Build and enforce a customer centric approach

    Education:

    • University degree or equivalent qualification, preferably with analytical focus, marketing or  commercial subjects
    • Post-graduate degree in an analytical or commercial field of study

    Experience

    • Min 3-5 years of relevant work experience 
    • Fluent in English & Other South African languages
    • Experience in CVM methodology, principles, capabilities, and techniques.
    • Prior experience of mobile industry 
    • Experience with research- and analytics-driven quantitative pricing techniques (e.g. choice   modelling)
