QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE:

• BCom Hons: Accounting
• CA / CFA / SAIPA is recommended
• At least 5 years’ industry related experience

• Knowledge of Internal Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Lead and manage the financial and administrative team
• Take full responsibility for ensuring timely and accurate accounting reports
• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Coordinate and complete the annual budget process
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies
• Liaise with and coordinate external auditors
• Authorize daily payments
• Oversee the completion of auctions and liaison transactions in accordance with procedures
• Manage debtors effectively
