Manager Finance - East London at Mercedes-Benz

Main Tasks

• Conduct all Performance Management related processes, as per the Mercedes-Benz AG Performance Management Guideline, Processes and Systems for the Accounts Payable Team members, directly reporting to this Function.
• Manage the Mercedes-Benz payables and payments processes.
• Manage the Accounts Payable team to ensure all error logs are maintained and errors addressed. Manage payables books to ensure that payables are maintained and managed to minimize overdue payables. Ensure all vendor/customer data is updated and maintained for appropriate reporting and analysis.
• Manage internal financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
• Review and maintain ICS Controls for Accounts payable and purchase accounting regularly. Ensure segregation of duties are maintained and that all relevant control checks are performed monthly.
• Analyse financial reports and present findings to management.
• Monitor financial details to ensure legal requirements are met.
• Manage audit processes of current systems.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting practices.
