Manager Inventory and Projects at RCL Foods

• This role will be based in Malalane and will report to the Manager Procurement.

Minimum Requirements    

• Degree in Commerce/ Supply Chain/Logistics Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience Supply Chain environment of which 2 should be at a management level.
• Computer literacy is essential.
• Valid code EB driver’s licence.
• SAP MM Inventory Knowledge and Experience
• SAP integration with other Modules of SAP
• Proven project management experience in a Supply Chain environment
• Demonstrated success in managing projects relating to superior performance and continuous improvement.
• Experience within the Sugar industry will be advantageous.
• The individual needs to be an action-orientated, self-starter, assertive and with good communication skills.
• Ability to interface and demonstrate leadership.
• To be considered for appointment, candidate must be a South African citizen.

Duties & Responsibilities    

• To Manage a specialized team that is responsible for Procurement Inventory and Contract Buying across all RCL maintenance plants.
• Manage Supply Chain Projects related to Supply Chain, Inventory and Business Improvement.
• Lead the team on Inventory Management & Supply Chain Projects.
• Ensure adherence to relevant policies and procedures.
• Ensure that quality and productivity standards of work are consistently and accurately maintained.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures that meet Audit Requirements
• Ensure that quality and productivity standards of work are consistently and accurately maintained.
• Champion training and development within team.
• Drive administration and data management.
• Managing information for any site/category procurement report required
• Drive and apply Inventory Strategy Policies and Procedures for Operations that supports the Group Strategy.
• Managing Procurement SAP Inventory Projects including SAP MM.
• Manage the redundant stock process with stakeholders (ME’s, Commercial and EAM).
• Stock Values and Budgets for plants and materials.
• Managing the risk of out-of-stock materials.
• Manage Off crop planning of Materials.
• Manage and coordinate material issues during off crop including process and raw materials for start-up.
