Manager: Mobile Crushing Division at Afrimat

Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Competencies

• A minimum of 10 years’ management experience in the Construction/Mining industry.
• Must be proficient in English and Afrikaans.
• Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams across different geographical areas. With the focus on operational efficiencies, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Must be experienced in building relationship with internal and external stakeholder (e.g. clients, communities, DMRE, etc.).
• Experience in complying with all legal, health, statutory, safety, environmental and quality requirements across different operations.
• Must be proficient in office suite.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing to travel nationally in line with operational and business requirements.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Will be responsible for all crusher operations throughout South Africa in line with strategic and budget requirements.
• Must ensure product quality and quantity that meets customer demands.
• Must be able to obtain high quality marketing intelligence through networking, customer relationships and participating in industry organisations/associations.
• Must implement continuous performance improvements for the effective maintenance and operations of plant and equipment.
• Must implement effective people management practices to ensure optimal development and training to create a positive and engaging working environment.
• Must ensure that the Afrimat values and culture is upheld throughout the business.
• Must proactively identify and pursue new contracts and business opportunities to grow the footprint in South Africa.
• Must develop and implement a plan for the rotation and or commissioning of mobile crushing plants/teams in line with business/customer requirements.
• Drive availabilities, and efficiencies of equipment.
• Strong business acumen, driving profitability.
