Job Purpose

• To provide a strategic, technical and administrative service for the Parks, Leisure and Cemeteries  facilities in the Natural Resources Division.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Undertakes the formulation of the strategic direction of the Natural Resources Division.
• Initiates and manages special projects.
• Liaises with stakeholders.
• Responsible for the financial control of the Natural Resources Division.
• Undertakes the general management of the Natural Resources Division.
• Supervision and control of staff.
• Manages the allocation of Natural Resource facilities for activities and events.

Essential Requirements

• Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Nature Conservation or Environmental Management.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license. 
• 5 Years relevant experience in nature conservation practice of which 3 years must be at a 
• supervisory level.

Preferred Requirements

• Degree (NQF Level 7) in Nature Conservation or Environmental Management.
• 6 Years relevant experience in nature conservation practice of which 4 years must be at a 
• supervisory level.
