    Manager Reward

    Purpose Statement

    To support the overall Capitec HR and Business Strategy by taking responsibility for the pay and reward landscape:

    1. Lead and manage the remuneration strategy implementation and ensure sustainable and scalable rewards for Capitec bank in line with business goals and objectives.
    2. Design impactful, competitive and relevant remuneration and reward practices through the application of best practice compensation analytics, tools and resources.
    3. Provide remuneration and rewards expertise, and ensure the effective attraction, retention, motivation and experience of employees.

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Commerce

    Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

    • Honours Degree in Finance or Commerce

    Experience

    • Minimum 8 years in a remuneration capacity in a corporate environment
    • Proven experience in preparing proposals, and engaging with a Remuneration Committee
    • Data and analytics application in a Rewards environment
    • Forecasting, reporting and budgeting
    • Experience in building and applying financial reward models
    • Writing policies and procedures
    • Previous supervisory experience (ideal)

    Knowledge

    Minimum:

    • Remuneration and reward principles
    • Executive Pay
    • All legislation and regulatory requirements pertaining to rewards and executive pay
    • Job grading and benchmarking frameworks and practices
    • Vendor engagement and management

    Ideal:

    • Data visualisation
    • Patterson job grading framework
