    Market HR Specialist South Africa

    Your Role: 

    • An exciting opportunity has opened up with our company. We are looking to hire a Market Human Resources Specialist in South Africa for the English Portuguese Speaking Africa Region. 
    • As a Market Human Resources Specialist, you will have the following responsibilities: 
    • Full Employee Life Cycle Administration in respect of all countries in EPA, namely but not limited to South Africa and Kenya
    • Update and maintainance of Policies and Procedures on the internal system in respect of all countries in EPA, namely but not limited to South Africa; and Kenya
    • Point of contact for all HR service and benefits providers monthly and as required.  
    • Maintain data and reporting on HR Premier (local system); Maintain VEmployee X Self Service (ESS local system)
    • Point of contact for all HR administration, including employee benefits administration, and takes responsibility for timely and accurate implementation of all changes on the payroll
    • Responsible for accurate and timely Payroll capturing; liaising with outsourced payroll provider and finance ; payroll checking and approval prior to payment;  and ensuring timely payment to all employees: including Third Party payments
    • Electronic approval, submission ad payment of monthly EMP201 returns
    • To Consolidate, integrate & make accessible HR related information as required ahead of internal/ external Audits, participating when required.
    • Work with managers to ensure all Job descriptions are in the current format, signed, and stored electronically and in employees files for all employees
    • To co-ordinate annual wellness days with the service provider
    • Responsible for Purchase Order; vendor processes; contracts upload on internal legal system, in line with compliance processes
    • Responsible for timely and accurate statutory reporting i.e. Employment Equity; WSP/ ATR.
    • Responsible for timely and accurate internal reporting i.e. CR360 (EHS Global Report); and other reports as needed within HR or by the business
    • Support on recruitment and to apply for background screening with MIE when applicable
    • Provide local support for expats in alignment with Global Mobility
    • Handle Compensation and Employee Benefits, including benchmarking for the EPA Region
    • Provide support on internal/external audits when needed on payroll topics
    • Provide HR advice and support to the business on HR and payroll matters including but not limited to payroll queries; employee benefits; recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits amongst others
    • Support on discipline matters ad hoc
    • Continuously interrogate current HR processes; practices; systems to ensure smooth HR administration for continuous improvement
    • Collaborate with HR Head to identify, enhance, and promote best practices aimed at enhancing the HR organization

    Who you are: 

    •  8-10 years’ experience in Human Resources 
    • Human Resources degree/ qualification is required 
    • Extensive HR experience in outsourced payroll (SAGE VIP system; HR Premier; ESS) for South Africa and Kenya, including third party payments
    • Extensive experience with automated in-house HR self- service systems
    • Statutory reporting i.e. EE; SETA; Tax Authorities
    • Experience in recruitment & selection; Industrial Relations; Compensation & Benefits including benchmarking
    • Proven Experience in business partnering and achieving results
    • Extensive experience in interpreting; analyzing; and interrogating data
    • MS office, including excellent proficiency on excel
    • Multinational experience is required
