Market Insights Analyst for Sales & Distribution Department (short-term insurance) at Swiss Re

• We are looking for someone to help us analyze & interpret our sales results, broker performance, client success rate, do research and forecasts, to ensure we can build an even better sales strategy. Be at the forefront of our sales initiatives and help us to achieve even better business results!
• In this role you will support Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ strategy in close collaboration with sales and distribution partners in the South African corporate insurance market.
• You will collaborate with Marketing & Communications Teams (local/regional/global) to oversee local execution of campaigns, market messages and brand positioning with Sales & Distribution and other key stakeholders as well as coordinate local execution of sponsorship & events. You will prepare reports, briefs, presentations, and compilation of pitch decks supporting our innovative risk solutions and international business value propositions.

Your Main Tasks

• Analyse and interpret data on broker performance
• Provide sales and distribution insight and intelligence
• Collate market insights to inform and help position the business to leverage future growth opportunities
• Provide oversight & analysis of satisfaction surveys to drive continuous improvement.
• Do reports and forecasts on past & future business results
• Help prepare marketing plans & initiatives
• Help prepare sales pitch presentations

About You

• Experience from sales/P&C insurance ( short-term) industry strongly preferred
• Short-term insurance knowledge/experience
• Experience with data analysis, preparing story lines & pitches
• Strong with excel, Power BI advantageous
• Strong reporting and report writing capability and analytical skills.
• Effective organisational & interpersonal skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills, with ability to handle conflicts and steer multiple parties' interests into an aligned one
