Hello Future Market Research Analyst

• FNB Retail Marketing is looking for a dynamic and highly effective Market Research Analyst to join their team. The successful applicant will be required to execute within area of responsibility and under guidance and supervision, on market research and analytics, by gathering and analyzing data of the competitive landscape of the banking sector to ensure optimal service delivery, profitability, sustainability and future competitive growth.

• Prevent wastage and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs.
• Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards.
• Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development.
• Implement projects/ initiatives under guidance and supervision to ensure optimal service delivery, profitability, sustainability and future competitive growth.
• Deliver on approved projects/ initiatives and ensure alignment to data practices under guidance and within area of responsibility.
• Display and encourage an appreciation of teamwork and inclusivity.
• Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialization.
• Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions.
• Comply with relevant statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements and adhere to processes and procedures related to area of specialization.
• Deliver customer experience excellence in own service delivery aligned to Organizational values and service standards.
• Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation.

You will be an ideal candidate if you have: 

• Relevant Degree or Diploma.
• Ability to analyze date insights would be advantageous.
• 2 – 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Great reporting and presentation skills.
• Relationship Management skills as well as the ability to engage with different stakeholders at all level.
