    Marketing Manager

    The Role

    An exciting opportunity to join a blue-chip property management company as a Marketing Manager awaits your creative marketing strategies. Your hands-on approach to attract and entice clientele to shop at one of the most innovative and forward-thinking malls in Kwa-Zulu Natal is sought after.

    Being a senior role, you will be given Carte Blanche and a budget to work with to take marketing to the next level. The role will be best suited for a strong personality that can work under a high pressurized environment and meet strict deadlines, if you are up for the task then this is your next career move.

    A strong focus on tenant liaison and relationship building is a core focus to make your job easier. It is a strong advantage to have retail marketing background, as they need you to be ready to gear up for the festive season and hit the ground running.

    Duties:

    • Devise implement and report on the annual marketing strategy.
    • Draw, manage and report on the marketing budget, annually and monthly reporting
    • Tenant liaison - building and nurturing strong relationships with the tenants, assisting with marketing campaigns and strategies at tenant level.
    • Understanding and reporting on trends, customer behaviour, tenant performance, risk and opportunities within the centre.
    • Understanding the competition and exploring opportunities to capitalise on the USPs of the Mall.
    • Social Media Management - we have a social media company with whom we partner however the successful candidate would need to work closely with the service provider to ensure optimum exposure, benefit and mileage from our social media pages.
    • Social Media Community Management - responding to community engagement on social media platforms and securing better relationships with our community that is very involved in our platforms.
    • Public Relations: Seeking and securing opportunities to promote the Mall through relationships with the media, influencers etc.
    • NON GLA and Exhibitions: drive non GLA income through active canvassing of prospective exhibitors etc.

    Requirements

    • A relevant BCOM in Marketing Management
    • 5+ years in a Marketing Management Role
    • Retail Marketing experience advantageous
    • A proven track record of Marketing strategies and budgets
    • Social Media Management
    • Social Media tracking system experience and dashboard management advantageous.
