    Role Purpose

    • To lead the provisioning, management and distribution of all market prices and liquidity for the RMB markets business across client and trading venues.

    Responsibilities

    • Budget Management
      • Contribute to the development of larger overall area budget
      • Develop the budget for the next financial year for area of responsibility taking all operational plans into consideration
      • Develop tactical budget for area of responsibility that minimise expenditure and manage costs
      • Control the budget for area including the authorisation of expenditures and implementation of financial regulations
    • Growth Revenue
      • Monitor revenue growth for applicable income streams.
      • Determine targets for revenue growth Identify and implement on opportunities for revenue growth.
    • Customer Experience and Satisfaction
      • Design and deliver customer service solutions, systems and interactions aligned to Organisational values and service standards.
      • Enhance the service experience by ensuring the alignment of multiple service delivery processes and channels, and putting the customer first Introduce best practice customer service solutions and efficiency models.
      • Monitor and evaluate all customer touch points to ensure the effectiveness of customer experience.
    • Relationship Management
      • Build relationships that allow for the managing of expectations; the sharing of knowledge and diverse insights; and the creation of buy-in.
      • Engage in cross-functional relationships to obtain and to provide work support.
      • Contribute to sustaining a competitive edge through external networking, benchmarking and representation on related forums.
    • Customer Centricity
      • Apply a customer-centric approach that focuses on creating a positive experience for the customer by maximizing service and/or product offerings and building relationships.
      • Ensure that the customer is at the centre of the business philosophy, operations and ideas.
    • Risk and Compliance
      • Provide input into, and implement, corporate governance, compliance, integrity and ethics policies in are of accountability to identify and manage risk exposure
      • Stays abreast of relevant industry risk management best practices and legislative amendments and suggests ways to leverage these to ensure continuous improvement
      • Creates risk awareness and manages audit findings
    • Reporting
      • Ensure integrated view and reporting of relevant business information
      • Analyse information to identify trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies for decision making purposes Ensure reporting of identified inconsistencies or opportunies
      • Use the insights gained through integrated business reports to measure success and realign tactical strategy implementation objectives appropriately
    • Tactical Strategy and Practice
      • Translate functional sales strategy into integrated tactical product, channel or delivery plans
      • Track, control and influence sales activities with the specific aim to increase sales efficiencies of the team Monitor cost activities and collection of revenue and measure cost to income against set targets and put measures in place to address any discrepancies
    • Business Operations
      • Provide traders with a view on how their trading impacts the market
      • Be the go-to person for Traders on any questions around how their hedging is being received as well as general updated on markets and electronic liquidity.
      • Ensure that all electronic market makers are operating as expected across a variety of venues and client channels.
    • Business Process
      • Monitor client flow in real-time using available tools to understand the impact of each client on the overall trading ecosystem
      • Take real-time action on each available parameter such as volatility controls, pricing stream configuration and Autohedge so that the overall market maker is optimised on the day Work closely with eQuants in designing new or improved pricing, hedging and market making models, namely in providing input based on market observation and experience.
      • Be the expert with regards to the current performance of the electronic market maker being able to give a realtime view on its performance.
    • Stakeholder Management
      • Work with eQuants to measure and understand liquidity provider performance over time and optimise aggregation approach
      • Lead the overall feedback to LPs on their share of wallet, areas of improvement and general overall relationship with RMB
      • Liaise directly with sales on any client flow dynamics that require attention or remediation suggesting areas of improvement and subsequent action.
    • Performance Management
      • Manage performance of team or teams in areas of responsibility against expected individual and team delivery targets
      • Identify current and future human capital needs and skills requirements Ensure relevant resolution of conflict and respond to any complaints or concerns
    • Employee Networking and Collaboration
      • Lead a development culture where information regarding successes, issues, trends and ideas are actively shared
      • Lead specialist communities of practice and contribute positively to own and organisational knowledge improvement
    • Leadership
      • Establish an enabling climate and culture to energise employees, give meaning to work, minimise work disruption and maximise employee productivity

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum Qualification
      • Honours Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Quantitative Statistics or Mathematics
    • Preferred Qualification
      • Postgraduate qualification with a specialisation in Financial Markets with a CFA (charter financial analyst certification) qualification experience
    • Experience
      • 5 to 8 years' experience in a similar environment, of which 2 to 3 years ideally at specialist level
