Job Description:
You will also be responsible for:
Manage all rigging and crane activities onsite
Rigging studies and risk assessments of all complicated lifts
Supervisor rigging team
Clearly defined scope of work
Following the planning and ensuring that equipment its in good working condition and ensuring correct equipment is used for correct jobs
Ensuring personal and team workplace practices were safe efficient, maintaining a high safety standard throughout all work practices.
Inspection rigging equipment for any defects before using
Inspection of lifting/rigging equipment, making sure all lifting equipment are certified and safe for use
Experience required:
5 years as a qualified rigger working in an heavy industrial industry (preference given to mining).
Qualifications:
You must have:
N4 certificate
Rigger Trade Test
Master Rigger Certification from an accredited, recognised lifting machinery institution or body as a registered accredited member of ECSA as a Master Rigger or LMI (Lifting equipment/ Machinery Inspector)
AAP SIMM inspectors course (advantageous)
Crane Inspection Training
Advance Scaffolding Erection (advantageous)
Advance Scaffolding Inspection
