    Material Handling Operator (Sales Returns) - DI FIN

    Responsibilities of the Role

    • Receiving of Incoming goods & Sales Returns - Accepts incoming & returned goods for DI and compares them with the shipping document (RAN, Material number, description, quantity).
    • Stock take & Record keeping – executes cycle counts and stock takes. Records the relevant information including Serial numbers on the relevant documentation (Returns sheet / register).Checks incoming goods for visible damage, documents them and provides the information to relevant stakeholders (Commercials / BU Managers).
    • Captures relevant data in register and SAP processing systems.
    • Binning - Arranges the BINNING of stock & returns from customer (where appropriate).
    • Returns to Supplier – Request RECO authorisation & adds the corresponding shipping documents to the outgoing goods.
    • Order Picking - Picks deliveries or returns to supplier (where applicable) from stock and reviews for completeness and accuracy (e.g. quantity and article number in reference to the respective delivery notes).
    • Packaging - Completes packaging of deliveries as per shipping instructions, applicable methods of dispatch, types of packaging and other instructions (e.g., fragile, heavy & dangerous goods) in the given framework.
    • Update post goods issues in SAP to reflect stock in real time. Completes PEGA flow in SAP.
    • Transportation - Completes transports requirements using in house 3PL parties and if applicable with external 3PL parties always ensuring the professional usage of appropriate means of transportation.
    • Updates outbound register with relevant information (d/note). Proof of supply (T/O with photo’s, part numbers and SERIAL Number) for EXTENDED WARRANTY (where required).
    • Execute deliveries to customer or supplier where applicable and verify outbound deliveries with the 3PL freight partner.
    • File all outbound documentation for record purposes.
    • Customer Queries - Liaise with the Customers on Returns and outbound deliveries queries.
    • Inventory control - Participates in regular stock counts / cycle counts
    • SHEQ – Complies with all SHEQ requirements as per company policy. Ensures the correct use of transport equipment (hand-guided industrial trucks, electrical/mechanical forklift, etc.).

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Grade 12
    • 3-5 years Sales Returns / Warehousing / Inventory / Logistics will be advantageous.
    • Computer – Basic Excel & Word.
    • SAP Returns (E2E / PEGA)
    • SAP Spiridon IM & WM
