An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Material Planner to join a dynamic manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient planning, coordination, and availability of materials to support production requirements and customer demands.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate material call-offs in line with production schedules and customer requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to prevent shortages and excess stock.
Expedite supplier deliveries to meet production and customer timelines.
Maintain accurate inventory records and transactions within SAP.
Work closely with logistics and freight forwarding teams to ensure material availability.
Analyse inventory data and prepare reports to support operational decision-making.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management and SAP processes.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and inventory control standards.
Participate in cross-functional meetings with sourcing, quality, sales, engineering, and other operational teams to align material requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Advanced Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in material planning, inventory control, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of SAP and stock management systems.
Solid understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management principles.
Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
