Materials Co-ordinator at The Heineken Company

The key performance areas for this position will include, but are not limited to:

• Achieve operational targets in line with strategic business objectives
• Effective and efficient management of stocks
• Limiting losses and write-offs
• Maintaining effective and efficient services to all relevant stakeholders
• Stand-in duties
• Ensure competent and motivated people within the Dry Goods team
• Managing people
• Actively participate in Stock take as and when required
• Maintaining effective admin housekeeping
• Practices Maintaining company policies and procedures
• Effective management of forklift fleet
• Build effective and efficient relationships with internal and external customers

The successful candidate must have the following experience / skills:

• Minimum of a Matric Certificate (Grade 12) 
• A National Diploma/Degree within the Logistics/Warehousing study fields will be an advatage
• 3 - 5 yrs relevant experience in a stores environment
• Admin and Production experience will be an added advantage
• Ability to work independently, accurately and under pressure
• Ability to work well in a team
• Willingness to work a day and night shift structure
• Computer Literacy (MS Word, Excel) and SAP R/3 would be an added advantage
• Good interpersonal skills
• Be creative; pro-active and use own initiative
