Mathematics and Mathematical Literacy Teacher at Rustenburg Girls'​ High School

Description    

• Rustenburg Girls’ High School is looking to replace an experienced Mathematics and Mathematical Literacy teacher.  This full time SGB educator post is available from Term 2 of 2026 or by arrangement. 
• Only short-listed candidates will be contacted and invited to an interview and will be taken on a tour of the school and expected to teach a lesson.  We reserve the right not to fill the posts.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• The successful applicant will teach Mathematics from Grade 8 to Grade 12 and Mathematical Literacy as required. 
• The successful applicant will be expected to play a full role in the extra-mural life of the school, including as a Tutor in the Vertical Tutor System.

Minimum Requirements    

• Knowledge and experience in teaching the CAPs curriculum for both Mathematics and Mathematical Literacy in the FET phase is essential (minimum five years preferred).
• Experience of teaching at Grade 12 level is essential (minimum three years preferred).
• Must be computer literate and competent in the use of technology for teaching and learning.
