Measurement & Testing Analyst at Tiger Brands

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

• Control of all incoming materials, suppliers and custodian of measuring and testing equipment/methods

QUALITY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY

• Control of incoming materials
• Handling of non-conforming materials
• Custodian of measurement and testing equipment and methods
• Measurement and testing of in-process and finished products
• Handling of non-conforming results
• Continuous improvement
• Supplier monitoring & risk assessments

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSION REGISTRATIONS/ACCREDITATIONS REQUIRED BY THE POSITION

• Diploma in Food Technology
• TQM / B. Tech. would be advantageous
• Sound working knowledge MS Office suite (Outlook; PowerPoint, Excel)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a laboratory
• Strong communication skills at different levels
• Independent thinking and assumes process ownership
