Key Output

• Quickly and efficiently diagnose machine systems and carry out repairs, services, and maintenance on Earthmoving Equipment on customer sites or at BWE site.
• Compile accurate customer machine analysis and reports including machine inspection reports (MIR’s) and Technical Analysis Reports (TA’s)
• Maintain professional image when representing BWE.
• Ensure safe work practice by following procedures and risk assessment.
• Contamination control.
• Control own admin (Labour booking, service reports, part returns, expenses etc.)
• Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of own are consistently and accurately maintained.

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

• Qualified in relevant trade (e.g., Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic)
• Strong Engine knowledge on CAT3512
• Repair and replace engine components.
• Some Computer Literacy (SIS, VIMS, weight system and ET) knowledge
• Machine specific technical and product knowledge on hydraulic shovels RH340, RH400 and 6060
• Basic technical report writing, Basic business and financial understanding.
• Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
• Driver’s license-Code B & PDB
• Understanding of supplier warranty systems, policies and procedures.
