Job Advert Summary    

• Bidvest Tank Terminals (BTT) is inviting applications for an Apprenticeship Programme in the Mechanical Fitter trade. These opportunities are based in Durban. The programme consists of 36 months of facilitated theoretical and practical experiential training. The programme will end with the trade test.

Minimum Requirements    

• A valid South African Identity Document (SA Citizen)
• South African youth
• Ability to work within a Chemical Plant environment
• Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science or Matric with N2 Mechanical Engineering
• Willingness to learn and a positive attitude

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Attend theoretical training at an accredited training centre and experiential training at BTT
• Comply with department and company procedures
