Medical Equipment Technicians at Life Healthcare

Introduction

• A vacancy exists fix term Contract Ambulance Emergency as for Medical Technician x1 reporting to the Unit Manager based at Khumani Clinic.
• The incumbent will assume responsibility for an efficient, professional service rendered to Life Health Solution Khumani clinic in terms of assisting the Occupational Health Clinic with the Audiometry , Spirometry and Vision screening capturing, coordination and quality assurance of the statistics data, reports, and general administration tasks.

Critical Outputs

• Assist the Occupational Health Clinic as Medical Technicians doing Audiometry, Spirometry and Vision Screening
• Maintain and efficient, up to date tracking and filing system
• Drug testing
• Regular communication with Colleagues, Clinic Sisters, Operational Managers, Regional Managers and Clients.
• Conduct Audits monthly to ensure accuracy of data captured.
• Assist with investigation and analysis of statistics errors, queries and complaints and implementing corrective action within agreed turnaround times.
• Assist with Reasonability, equality assurance and accuracy analysis on all data, reports statistics system.
• Booking appointments 
• Working as RFA Technician
• Ad hoc tasks as required.

Requirements

• Qualifications in Emergency Ambulance Assistant - (non –negotiable)
• Certificate in Audiometry(non –negotiable)
• Certificate in Spirometry (non –negotiable)
• Certificate in Vision Screening - (non –negotiable)
• RFA Operator Certificate
• Register at HPSCA with compliance on CPD and CPG
• Advanced MS Excel experience e.g., Pivot Tables, formulas, graphs etc. and an excellent understanding of MS Office as well as good computer skills in general.
• Working experience in a mining environment.
• Good administration skills and attention to detail.
• Patience, appropriate assertiveness, deadline driven, good organization skills with the ability to implement new ideas will be most suitable for this position.
• Initiative, logical thinking and analytical ability essential.
• Customer orientation, focus, teamwork, accuracy, and attention to detail complete the profile
• Valid Driver’s License Code8
