    Medical Management Intern x4

    Purpose of the Internship: The Road Accident Fund is committed to youth skills development by providing graduates with an opportunity to gain workbased experience. Applications are invited for the Medical Management Internship for unemployed graduates between the age of 18 and 23.The Internship program will run for a period of Eighteen (18) months.

    Work based exposure may include any of the following:

    • Medical Management – Reviewing and processing of bills, activating undertakings, processingn of future medical claims, facilitate injury assessment reports, incorporate tariffs, cost savings initiatives recording and treatment protocol to ensure that all service providers adhere to the  rules and the tariff as guided by the RAF
    • Exceptional Hadling - Take part in the implementaion and maintenance of formal exception handling process within the medical management
    • Maintain the documenation and regular updating of the exception handling process
    • Stakeholder management - Followup and resolve all queries within the predefined turnaround times
    • External Stakeholder engagement (e.g. consulting with families of claimants and service providers)

    • General office administration, filing and data capturing related to the claims administration process

    Qualifications and other Requirements

    • Certified copy of Grade 12/ NQF 4 level certificate.
    • Certified copy of Relevant NQF 7 bachelor’s degree / Advanced Diploma in Health Sciences / Medical related qualification.
    • Certified copy of Academic transcript 
    • Certified copy of Registration certificate with HPCSA/SANCA
    • Certified copy of your ID
    • Your CV and motivational letter
