Matric. Appropriate qualification that allows for registration with the HPCSA as Medical Practitioner (Independent Practice). Current annual registration with HPCSA.
Grade 1:None after registration with HPCSA as Medical Practitioner in respect of South African qualified employees. 1 year relevant experience after registration as Medical Practitioner with recognised foreign Health Professional Council in respect of Foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service as required in South Africa.
Grade 2: 5 years after registration with HPCSA as Medical Practitioner in respect of South African qualified employees. 6 years relevant experience after registration as Medical Practitioner with recognised foreign Health Professional Council in respect of Foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service as required in South Africa.
Grade 3:10 after registration with HPCSA as Medical Practitioner in respect of South African qualified employees. 11 years relevant experience after registration as Medical Practitioner with recognised foreign Health Professional Council in respect of Foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service as required in South Africa.
Knowledge and Skills:
Extensive knowledge on Public Service legislation, policies and procedures. Excellent communication skills ( verbal, written, report writing, medico-legal reports).
Good interpersonal skills as well as display of honesty, integrity and excellent work ethics.
