Microsoft Intune Specialist Enterprise Device Management at Netsurit

Job Purpose:

• We are looking for a highly experienced Microsoft Intune Specialist to join our End User Computing team. This role will focus on managing and optimizing our Microsoft Intune environment, particularly within a large-scale, regulated banking environment. The ideal candidate will also support the migration from JAMF to Intune, requiring familiarity with macOS device management and enterprise mobility best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the administration, configuration, and support of Microsoft Intune in a complex enterprise environment.
• Drive the migration project from JAMF to Microsoft Intune for macOS devices.
• Design and implement modern management strategies for Windows and macOS endpoints using Intune.
• Establish and maintain device compliance policies, configuration profiles, application deployment, and endpoint protection.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated device and policy issues across platforms.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure endpoint configurations align with enterprise security baselines.
• Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge articles.
• Support patch management, reporting, and analytics on device posture and compliance.
• Provide subject matter expertise during audits and compliance reviews.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise device management, with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Intune.
• Proven experience managing Intune in a complex, high-compliance environment such as a financial institution.
• Hands-on experience with JAMF and transitioning macOS devices to Intune is strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of macOS device lifecycle management, MDM/EMM protocols, and Apple Business Manager.
• Strong skills in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, shell scripting).
• Familiarity with Conditional Access, Endpoint Security, Defender for Endpoint, and compliance integration.
• Solid grasp of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Azure AD integration.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., POPIA, GDPR, PCI-DSS) impacting endpoint management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., MD-102, MS-102, SC-300) preferred.
• JAMF certifications (e.g., JAMF Certified Tech) advantageous.
