MID - Accountant - Sage at Danté Personnel Recruitment

Minimum requirements:

• Sage Evolution experience crucial.
• Must have intermediate excel experience i.e. formulas and pivot tables.
• Have a small creditors book and a small asset register. 
• Creditors are predominantly imports.
• Debtors are not included however a monthly reconciliation is required.
• Would be advantageous if they have import knowledge and understand the paperwork.

Essential

• Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping
• Com Degree in Accounting (preferred)
• 5+ years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles – IFRS for SME’s
• Import regulations around customs documents (preferred)

 Responsibilities include:

• General Ledger
• Accounts Payable
• Cashbook / Bank Related Transactions
• Journals
• Accruals
• Inventory - Capturing of stock; Assisting with stock count;
• Exports - All export related documentation to be retained on file by export;
• Imports / FEC - Schedule of forex payments and prepayments to be loaded onto the forex schedule and batched in the relevant folder.
• Assets - Register all assets; Acquisitions and depreciation
• Budgets
• Month End
• Year End / Auditors
