    Mid Copywriter

    A Little Bit About the Role: 

    Are you looking for an opportunity to share your expertise, while working with brands? Do you want to be involved in the development of strategy, creative concepts, content and campaign implementation?  

    As a Mid-Level Copywriter, you will be an integral part of the team.  

    Working in partnership with our financial services client, you will create powerful and impactful long and short copy and concepts for proactive ideas, sales collateral, digital ads, social media and 360 campaigns. You should be comfortable and confident presenting concepts to the clients and internally on behalf of the Creative team. You can work autonomously, managing  a job from start to  finish where required, as well as collaborate closely with the rest of the Creative team. 

    What You'll be Doing: 

    • Write original and engaging brand copy for digital and print assets, web,social media, event collateral, video, advertising, creative concepts, and more 
    • Confidently challenge briefs were necessary. Be proactive in asking questions, and liaise with Client Service, Creative Leads and Clients to get the necessary information for briefs.   
    • Approach briefs with a strategic view, ensuring that all copy  delivers on the objectives and a full rationale is expressed for the positioning and execution of all copy.  
    • Ability to brainstorm creative concepts independently and in collaboration with the Creative Director and Designers. 
    • Be a guardian of the brand tone of voice. Develop, maintain, and evolve the tone of voice and ensure consistency.  
    • Consider accessibility and inclusivity guidelines in all aspects of copy production. 
    • Use insights to make recommendations on pivoting copy or creating alternative executions. 
    • Confidently pitch and present creative concepts, strategies, and campaigns to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.   
    • Research and develop insights where required. 
    • Execute on creative vision and direction across all briefs.   
    • Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all copy, including spelling, grammar, brand and product knowledge, tonality, and target audience. 
    • Ability to proofread your own and other’s work to ensure accuracy. 
    • Ensure all copy and design is fully aligned to develop cohesive and impactful creative campaigns that drives success for clients. 
    • Understand the relevant social media landscape, platforms and trends. 
    • Understand SEO best practices. 
    • Engage the brand’s followers using social media trends, technology, and design. 
    • Continuously enhance knowledge and skills through training, mentoring, presentations, attending workshops, and staying informed about advancements in the creative field. 
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in copy, design, advertising, and marketing.   
    • Be a good teammate. Be a sharp communicator. Be positive. Be on time. Have a great attitude. Camera on.  

    What You'll Need: 

    • 5+ years' experience in an advertising agency/consultancy. 
    • Strong experience writing for digital and social media. Must be comfortable creating content with SEO in mind. 
    • A background in a corporate or journalism environment.  
    • Thorough understanding of changing social media and digital best practises. 
    • A flair for words. 
    • Curiosity, creativity, and ambition. 
    • The ability to think conceptually when needed. Experience working as part of a traditional creative team (designer and copywriter) would be helpful. 
    • Demonstrated ability to combine and translate complex material from different sources and contexts into stories and content that engage and resonate with target audiences. 
    • Confident presenting and communicating clearly to other team members and clients. 

    Good to have: 

    • Multi-market experience. 
    • Basic understanding and genuine interest in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, showcasing a curiosity for exploring its applications and potential impact.
