Minimum Requirements

Qualification(s):

• B Degree/B Tech/Advanced Diploma in Finance/Economics/Engineering at NQF7 with 360 credits  

              
Related Minimum Experience:

• 7 years Extensive experience in an electrical utility industry and worked in any of the following disciplines i.e. grid access/pricing/energy trading/independent power producers (IPPs)/power purchase agreements (PPAs)/ customer sales

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement strategies to ensure compliance with the Market Code for South African Wholesaler Electricity Market (SAWEM) and the NERSA regulations
• Manage the implementation of policies, procedures and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage human and financial resources
• Communicate and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Align with organisation corporate objectives and comply with organisation, government decisions/approvals
