Analyzes and applies various middleware technologies to help fulfill company's requirements in the operations space. Solves technical problems of middleware involving large scale inter-disciplinary objectives within multiple systems. Provides coherent distributed middleware that connects software components and applications.
Responsibilities
Work independently with minimal direction
Design, architect, automate and deliver large scale production-ready services.
Be an analytical thinker and exceptional problem solver
Explain and teach complex ideas to audiences with varying levels of understanding
Be motivated by empowering / helping others to add business value
Research and review relevant IT trends and best practices
Provide information as input to strategic decision making
Establish relationships with key stakeholders and representation at relevant forums
Document and propose viable new solutions architecture frameworks
Define, maintain, configure and support infrastructure and systems
Deliver required reporting and trend analysis
Monitor, maintain and update systems
Standby support after business hours and during weekends
Qualification and Experience
3 Year relevant degree / NQF Level 5 / or Industry equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years' specialty experience.
Solid Experience and Understanding (architecture and implementation) (Certification an advantage) in
Oracle Fusion Middleware Stack 11g and 12c SOA, OSB, WEBLOGIC, OHS, FORMS & REPORTS, OFSAA, EDQ, ODI, OBIEE, OIAM Suite
WebSphere Application Server
Understanding of F5/Load Balancer architecture
Solid understanding of FTP protocol and managed FTP architectures
Solid Understanding of Deployment processes
AIX and Linux experience
Experience with Informatica an advantage
J2EE Development will be an advantage
AWS (Cloud) Experience an advantage.
Should have experience in Jboss Installation configuration deployment and troubleshooting.
Should have experience in configuring and running Bamboo Jobs.
