Millwright (Dual Trade) at RCL Foods

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to communicate on all levels.
• Must be highly competent in turning.
• Ability to work systematically. 
• Ability to prioritize workload.
• Report writing and analysis.
• Must be able to work shifts and be available on callouts and standby if required.
• Driver’s license with own transport.
• Fitting and Turning + Electrician (Preferred)/  Millwright Trade Test (minimum)
• 3 or more years of post-trade experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Be able to comply with Food safety standards.
• Ensure that your department complies with all Health and Safety requirements.
• Diagnose and correct mechanical and electrical machine faults.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain, mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Record maintenance and repair work performed.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Must be competent and fluent in turning by use of a lathe.
• Projects and machine installations.
