Bilnor Staffing Solutions' client in the Mining sector is seeking a Mine Manager Opencast Operation for position in Rustenburg, NW. South African Citizens and those living in the area will be preferred.
Minimum Requirements
Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency (Metalliferous Mines)
Minimum 10 years mining experience
At least 5 years in a senior management role in opencast mining
Strong knowledge of MHSA and mining regulations
Proven leadership and management skills
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all mining operations and ensure production targets are met
Ensure full compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA)
Manage and control operational budgets and costs
Lead and manage mining, engineering, and support teams
Implement and monitor mine planning and production schedules
Ensure adherence to safety standards and promote a strong safety culture
Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement in operational performance
Advantageous
Experience in contract mining
Strong financial and operational management experience
