Bilnor Staffing Solutions' client in the Mining sector is seeking a Mine Manager – Underground Mine for position in Northam, LP. South African Citizens and those living in the area will be preferred.
An established underground mining operation near Northam is seeking a highly experienced and competent Mine Manager to lead the mining operations and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Take responsibility for overall underground mining operations
Ensure full compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act
Manage production targets, costs, and operational performance
Lead underground mining teams and supervisors
Ensure implementation of mine plans and safety systems
Maintain effective relationships with regulatory authorities
Promote and enforce a strong safety culture
Minimum Requirements
Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency (Metalliferous Mines)
Minimum 10 years underground mining experience
At least 5 years in a senior supervisory or management role
Extensive knowledge of underground mining methods
Strong leadership and operational management ability
