Miner - Northam Development at Redpath Mining

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Matric certificate/ equivalent
• Blasting certificate
• Competent person A and B
• Valid First Aid
• Supervisory development certificate is advantageous
• Tunnel development
• Dover coordination test

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• 5 Years as a Development Miner of which two in underground Construction works
• 5 Years’ experience in the position of a Miner
• Board and pillar mining experience
• Knowledge of TMM Machines is advantageous
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of inclined and horizontal development end
• Knowledge of conventional and trackless development
• Sound knowledge of hydropower (aqua jet)

• Health and Safety a priority
• Ensuring compliance with the mine standards and procedures
• Achieving production and safety targets
• Accurate reporting and adhere to POLC (Planning, Organizing, Lead and Control)
