Job Description

A Mining house based in the Gauteng region is looking for an experienced Mine Overseer.

Duties:
- Accountable for operationalising and executing the safe and efficient delivery of the delegated short and medium-term production plan. The role is primarily accountable for the application and continuous enhancement of safety standards and optimising sectional operational planning, scheduling and execution.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Matriculated or Equivalent with a Mine Overseers Certificate of Competency
- At least five years' mine overseer experience in a deep level trackless mine
- Proven expertise in overseeing delivery of operational SHE campaigns
- Sound working knowledge of relevant Mine Health & Safety legislation
