    Mixologist

    OBJECTIVE:

    • To drive advocacy for specific brand portfolios, with wider portfolio support across the brands. The successful candidate will be a passionate ambassador for our liquor portfolio, engaging with customers, influencers, and industry professionals to drive brand loyalty and grow our brand presence in the market.

    The Key KPA’s for this role include (but are not limited to):

    Brand Advocacy

    • Represent RGBC’s liquor portfolio by passionately promoting and advocating for our range of spirits.
    • Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring brand consistency across all interactions and events.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with bars, restaurants, retail partners, and influencers to amplify brand recognition.

    Training and Education 

    • Educating staff, both internally and externally.
    • Educate bartenders, hospitality staff, and consumers about the company’s liquor portfolio, including flavour profiles, history, and production methods.
    • Lead tastings, workshops, and cocktail-making sessions, to increase product knowledge and brand awareness.
    • Develop educational material to assist in training and brand promotion.

    Cocktail Development and Creation 

    • Upskill all outlets on the key Brand Basic Cocktails.
    • Design and craft unique, innovative cocktails and menus that highlight the RGBC’s liquor portfolio.
    • Continuously experiment with new recipes and presentations to keep offerings fresh and exciting.
    • Ensure cocktails align with brand standards and highlight the unique characteristics of each product.

    Event Activation & Promotions 

    • Represent our brands at industry events, trade shows, festivals, and consumer-facing activations.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute high-profile events that engage target audiences and boost brand visibility.
    • Work closely with sales teams to provide support at key events and promotions, driving awareness and sales.

    Content Creation:

    • Drive social media presence and activities.
    • Contribute to the creation of engaging content (social media, blogs, videos, etc.) to showcase mixology expertise and brand values.
    • Share cocktail recipes, behind-the-scenes moments, and brand stories across digital channels.

    Market Insights & Feedback:

    • Gather customer feedback and insights about the portfolio, providing actionable information to the brand team for product improvement.
    • Stay current with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging cocktail culture to ensure the brand remains at the forefront of innovation.
    • Feedback on opportunities and competitor activity.
    • Share consumer feedback with internal teams to help shape the development of future products and marketing strategies.
    • Compiling monthly reports on all activities

    Collaboration, Partnerships and Sales:

    • Maintain and establish new relations.
    • Aid in increase of sales and distribution.

     Required Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a mixologist in a high-volume or prestigious hospitality setting.
    • Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and trends in the beverage industry.
    • Ability to engage with a variety of audiences, including consumers, industry professionals, and influencers.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Passion for creativity and innovation in mixology and the liquor industry.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and events.
    • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required for events and activations.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior experience working as a brand ambassador or in a brand advocacy role.
    • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and content creation.
    • Experience working with luxury or premium liquor brands.
    • Strong network within the bar and hospitality industry.
