    MultiChoice Bursary 2025 for Tertiary Students

    MultiChoice is currently accepting applications for 2025 academic year bursaries.

    Bursaries will be awarded to more than 230 students, for STEM-related degree studies, within the following fields (at undergraduate and postgraduate level, up to NQF level 9):

    • Actuarial Science
    • Accounting
    • Data & Information Science
    • Digital Media Technology
    • Film & Television, Marketing
    • Filmmaking
    • Finance
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Electronic Engineering
    • Information Engineering
    • Information Technology (AI & Robotics)
    • Sound Engineering
    • The bursary will cover 1 academic year of study and does NOT cover any outstanding debt.
    • Students will be selected based on the following main criteria, per the MultiChoice external bursary policy: academic performance and financial need.

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

    Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying:

    • You must be a South African citizen
    • You must be currently in Matric (in 2024) or have completed Matric
    • You must be studying or intend on studying full-time, towards a degree qualification within one of the fields listed above, which are considered critical and scarce skill fields
    • You must be a first-time undergraduate or postgraduate student (Honours and Masters) student
    • You must have achieved a minimum overall average of 75% in Matric
    • You must have achieved a minimum overall average of 65%, if currently studying
    • You must be studying or registered/ intend to register to study at a recognised institute of higher learning in South Africa
