    Assistant Branch Manager (Hinterland)

    Description

    To assist in the effective management and operation of the branch, ensuring profitability, customer satisfaction, and compliance with operational standards.

    Manage Business:

    • Manage turnover.
    • Monitor stock flow to determine fast/slow movers.
    • Plan promotions to maximise flow.
    • Optimisation of service departments, floor areas, shelves space, merchandising, eye levels (KBI lines), etc.
    • Plan and execute new initiatives - new product lines, price structuring, packaging, presentation, availability, etc.

    • Ensure compliance to legislation.

    Requirements

    • National Senior Certificate.
    • Candidates with degree in Business Marketing will receive preference.
    • A minimum of 3 year relevant experience.
    • Candidates with SAP experience will receive preference.

    Skills/ Competencies:

    • Knowledge of merchandising principles and space optimization.
    • Planning and implementation of promotional activities
