Multimedia Designer at MiWay Insurance Limited

What will you do?

• MiWay is looking for a creative multimedia graphic designer who can design and translate creative concepts into required traditional design and multimedia design elements. 

What will make you successful in this role?

Minimum Qualification Required

• Diploma or formal qualification in Graphic or Multimedia design 
• Three-year tertiary qualification in graphic/multimedia design (or similar). 

Minimum Experience

• At least three years’ experience, ideally with an advertising or interactive agency or in-house digital team 
• Adobe Creative Cloud, at least 3 years of experience. 

What we need you to do, including, but not limited to

• Interpret briefs and contribute to creative concepts through brainstorming and design solutions. 
• Manage design projects from conception to delivery, supporting wider marketing initiatives where needed. 
• Create original digital and print assets, including illustrations, infographics, GIFs, motion graphics, and video animations. 
• Develop rich media banners (GIF/HTML5) using tools such as Google Web Designer. 
• Ensure correct formats, dimensions, and specifications for social media, web, and print outputs. 
• Edit images, layouts, and typography with proficiency, precision, and flair. 
• Design marketing material across print and digital channels while maintaining brand and CI consistency. 

What we need you to bring

• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite 
• (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro). 
• Understanding of photography, video, and animation principles and workflows. 
• General understanding of and comfort with image generative AI tools, and the ability to incorporate them into creative workflows. 
• Understanding of website design, UX and UI and a basic understanding of CMS systems. 
• Basic video editing ability and knowledge of HTML5/CSS. 
• Strong design skills, eye for detail, and effective time management. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including template creation and PowerPoint. 
• Up-to-date awareness of design trends. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a positive, problem-solving mindset. 
• Proven ability to create effective concepts across digital and print, including internal comms and infographics. 
• Submission of a Portfolio showcasing successful campaigns and creative flair is mandatory
