Multiskilled Handyman (Rooms Care) at Tsebo Solution

• Tsebo Facilities Solutions is looking for a Rooms Care Multiskilled Handyman to support refurbishment, restoration, maintenance, and asset preservation activities within accommodation units by delivering high-quality multi-skilled building maintenance services that meet luxury hospitality standards. The role contributes to the upkeep, functionality, appearance, and longevity of accommodation facilities through planned and reactive maintenance interventions.

Duties & Responsibilities    
Maintenance and Refurbishment

• Perform painting and decorating work to required quality standards.
• Conduct tiling, carpentry, plumbing, and general building repairs.
• Carry out bath enamelling and furniture restoration activities.
• Repair and maintain cupboards, doors, ceilings, drywall structures, and related fittings.
• Complete waterproofing and preventative maintenance tasks.

Asset Preservation

• Support refurbishment and restoration initiatives across accommodation units.
• Assist with asset preservation programmes to maintain property standards.
• Identify maintenance concerns and report defects timeously.

Project Support

• Assist with room refurbishment projects.
• Conduct quality inspections on completed work.
• Coordinate and liaise with contractors where required.
• Ensure work areas are maintained in a safe and tidy condition.

Safety and Compliance

• Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and company procedures.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with hospitality and engineering standards.

Qualifications    

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Valid driver's licence.
• 3 to 5 years' experience in building maintenance, repairs, or refurbishment.

Advantageous

• Hospitality maintenance experience.
• Accommodation refurbishment experience.
• Exposure to contractor coordination and quality inspections.
