• A leading FMCG manufacturing company is looking for an accomplished National General Manager - Distribution Centre to provide strategic and operational leadership across its national DC network
• This is a high-impact executive opportunity for a commercially driven leader who can optimise a complex distribution network, build high-performing leadership teams and create scalable operations to support continued business growth

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute the national Distribution Centre strategy, network design and capacity plans
• Lead and hold DC General Managers and functional leaders accountable for operational, financial, service and people performance
• Drive end-to-end DC performance, OTIF, transport efficiency, inventory accuracy and store service levels
• Oversee budgets, cost-to-serve, labour productivity and sustainable cost improvement
• Identify capacity requirements and lead recommendations for new facilities, infrastructure, automation and technology investments
• Drive WMS, analytics, automation and process optimisation across the DC network
• Build leadership capability, succession pipelines and strong third-party logistics and supplier relationships
• Ensure strong Food Safety, Quality, Health & Safety and regulatory compliance

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or related field
• 8-10 years' progressive Distribution Centre, logistics or supply chain leadership experience
• Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership position such as General Manager, Head of Distribution or equivalent
• Proven experience leading high-volume, multi-disciplinary DC operations
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control and capital expenditure
• Proven experience in capacity planning, automation, WMS implementation or major operational transformation
• Strong strategic leadership, change management and people development capabilities
• FMCG, food, perishables, retail or QSR distribution experience preferred
