National Saftey Manager - FMCG (HOF1) at The Beverage Company

Job Purpose

• The primary purpose of this role is to create and maintain a robust Safety, Health, Environment, and Risk (SHER) framework for The Beverage Company.
• The role involves leading company-wide SHER and operational risk initiatives, ensuring that employees, visitors, and contractors are aware of and aligned with SHER policies and procedures, and monitoring overall SHER compliance.
• The role includes taking ownership of corrective actions and risk mitigations, as well as identifying and spearheading projects to enhance Safety, Health, Environment, and Operational Risk control.
• The role is crucial in establishing a culture of safety, health, environmental responsibility, and risk management within The Beverage Company. It involves strategic planning, communication, compliance monitoring, and driving improvements to ensure the well-being of employees and the company's overall sustainability.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors Degree (3 years) / NQF level 7 (Essential)
• SAMTRAC/NEBOSH Certified
• ISO 14001/45001 Lead Auditor
• Up to 8 years’ experience (Consulting/Advisory) Health and Safety; Environmental; Risk Assessments; FMCG; Legal Compliance
• MS Excel; MS Word; SAP; E Mail; MS PowerPoint
