Nursing Services Manager - LVPH at Lenmed Private Hospitals

Main Focus Areas

• The Nursing Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall nursing operations in the hospital by co-ordinating all nursing functions and activities related to the provision, promotion and assurance of quality person centred care, compliance with all healthcare regulations, optimal resource management and effective stakeholder engagement.

Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

• Facilitate safe, cost-effective quality person-centred care in line with Lenmed’s nursing & clinical governance strategy
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, policies and procedures.
• Initiate and drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Manage nursing resources and the nursing budget
• Support nursing training and professional development
• Foster a collaborative and compassionate work environment
• Promote health and wellbeing of patients and employees
• Ensure adherence to the principles of infection prevention and control
• Implement group quality improvement initiatives
• Promote customer satisfaction

Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)

• A Degree/Diploma in nursing
• Current registration with the SANC as a Registered Nurse, Midwife, Psychiatric and Community Health Nurse
• A post basic qualification in Nursing Administration/Management
• A minimum of three years experience in a private hospital setting in a Senior Nursing Management role
• Excellent Computer literacy
• Strong knowledge of clinical best practices and healthcare regulations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
