OC & Laboratory Supervisor - Isando at FUCHS

Your areas of responsibility:

• Liaise with all stakeholders and build a high-performance team, to deliver on company's strategic objectives.
• Oversee calibration of laboratory testing equipment and ensure staff is trained to use relevant equipment.
• Manage availability of consumables for the Laboratory (i.e. reagents, gases & day to day PPE).
• Identify relevant KPIs to monitor and improve teams overall performance.
• Institute quality controls across the value chain to ensure product quality integrity is upheld.
• Develop and implement FMEA, control plans and conduct MSA studies for the laboratory.

Qualifications we are looking for:

• Minimum of a National Diploma in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or related studies.
• Five years' supervisory experience in QC and Laboratory environment with ISO internal audit qualification.
• Previous exposure in lubricants manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, IATF 16949, and other international standards.
