We are seeking a reliable and efficient Office Assistant/Cleaner to join our team. The role will primarily involve maintaining a clean and organised office space, as well as providing administrative support to the office staff.
Responsibilities:
Cleaning and maintaining the office premises, including dusting, mopping, and cleaning communal areas
Ensuring that all areas are kept neat and tidy at all times
Monitoring and replenishing supplies like milk, sugar, tea, coffee and cleaning materials
Assisting with basic administrative tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documents
Running errands as required
Ensuring that the boardroom is ready when clients visit the office for meetings
Providing general support to office staff as needed
Preparing and serving tea, coffee and water to staff and clients, often during meetings
Assisting with general cleaning duties, such as cleaning the office vehicles from time to time
Qualifications:
Matric certificate
Previous experience in a professional office setting
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time
Proficiency in MS Office suite and basic computer skills
