The Opportunity:
Old Mutual Finance is currently seeking to hire a Business Analyst. This is a nationally based role that forms part of the Old Mutual Finance Information Technology Team.
The objective of this role is to enable change in the organisation by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders. This includes analysis of data to inform business decisions and finding technological solutions to business needs.

In This Role, You will Get To:

Work within an IT Delivery team in an Agile environment and through collaboration with Delivery Teams, Product Owners and other Stakeholders:

• Ensure that initiatives contribute to meeting the strategic objectives of the organisation.

• Elicit, analyse and communicate information to ensure stakeholders have a shared understanding of, and clarity on where value can be created.
• Identify who benefits from value created, who is involved in creating value and who might be impacted.
• Assist stakeholders with decision-making regarding approaches, priorities, and trade-offs to stay focused on continuous value creation in the face of constraints, differing opinions, risks, and complexity.
• Support an environment of creativity, learning, and experimentation.

What You Will Need To Succeed:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Relevant Business Analyst qualification, IT Diploma or a related degree will be advantageous.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance industry
• Experience in using Agile methodologies will be advantageous.
