Operations Executive - Coastal Region at Mediclinic

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

• To provide leadership, strategic direction and support to hospitals within the region to enhance market share and improve operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Lead and manage the people within the region.
• Set and provide strategic direction for the region.
• Drive optimisation and growth of business within the region.
• Manage operational efficiency across hospitals within the region.
• Facilitate implementation of initiatives to integrate health service delivery across the continuum of care.
• Manage doctor engagement and relations.
• Manage key account and stakeholder relations.
• Oversee Patient Safety and Client Experience
• Manage and control regional budgets / finances.
• Manage and mitigate regional risks.

REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree

DESIRED EDUCATION

• Degree in Financial or Business Administration

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 5 years demonstrated senior management experience within the healthcare industry, overseeing multiple functional teams or business units

• Acute hospital management experience in the private healthcare sector
