    Business Development Manager

    Purpose

    • The Business Development Manager is to drive sustainable business growth by identifying, developing and converting major project and new business opportunities. The role is predominantly field based, building strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, corporates and key industry stakeholders to expand the client base and strengthen Belgotex’s market presence.
    • The role also works closely with Specification Business Developers to support customer engagements, progress sales opportunities and maintain visibility of key projects through regular pipeline and WIP reviews.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and develop new customers, markets and business channels to support revenue growth.
    • Build strong relationships with key regional industry stakeholders and professional networks.
    • Understand market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to identify new commercial opportunities.
    • Provide stakeholders with product guidance to help identify solutions suited to their needs and budgets.
    • Pursue major project opportunities and contribute to growing the Belgotex client base.
    • Work closely with Commercial and Marketing teams to support project marketing and sales initiatives.
    • Provide market and stakeholder insights to support marketing, product development and design initiatives.
    • Manage Continuous Professional Development training activities.
    • Develop relationships with key developers and customers and support commercial negotiations.
    • Represent Belgotex at relevant industry functions.
    • Maintain strong product knowledge and remain up to date with industry trends and practices.
    • Track performance against agreed KPIs and contribute to action plans supporting sales, margin, growth and revenue objectives.
    • Keep opportunity, project and client information accurate and up to date within the CRM.
    • Collaborate closely with internal project sales and specification teams to support a seamless customer experience.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 / Matric, including Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
    • At least 3 to 5 years’ relevant sales experience in a similar role within a relevant industry.
    • Experience working with CRM systems and Microsoft packages.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across different stakeholder levels.
    • Excellent planning, organisation and time-management skills.
    • The ability to confidently articulate products and services.
    • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong customer and stakeholder engagement.
    • A proven track record in specifications, previous exposure to flooring products or the flooring industry, and an aptitude for design and marketing would be advantageous.

    Product and Pricing Analyst

    Purpose

    • The purpose of the Product Pricing Analyst is to support profitable and competitive growth by analysing product pricing, market trends, competitor activity, customer behaviour, cost drivers and margin performance across the flooring portfolio. The role is responsible for converting market intelligence and internal data into clear pricing insights, recommendations and reporting that enable informed commercial decisions, sustainable margin improvement and stronger market positioning. 

    Responsibilities

    • Analyse pricing across flooring categories, channels, regions, customer segments and product ranges to identify margin opportunities, pricing inconsistencies and competitive risks.
    • Gather and interpret market intelligence on competitor pricing, product positioning, promotional activity, customer preferences and market trends.
    • Support the development and review of pricing models, price lists, discount frameworks and promotional pricing recommendations.
    • Monitor product profitability by analysing volumes, cost movements, contribution margins, rebates, discounts and customer-specific pricing.
    • Provide pricing insights for new product development, launches, range reviews, rationalisation and product lifecycle decisions.
    • Partner with Sales and Marketing to understand market feedback, competitor movement, customer requirements and commercial opportunities.
    • Work with Finance and Costing teams to align pricing recommendations with cost structures, margin targets and profitability expectations.
    • Prepare pricing reports, dashboards and analysis packs that clearly communicate trends, risks, opportunities and recommended actions.
    • Evaluate special pricing requests, deals and customer proposals for commercial viability and alignment with approved pricing principles.
    • Identify opportunities for revenue growth through segmentation, product mix optimisation and market-led pricing strategies.
    • Maintain accurate pricing data, price files, competitor benchmarks and supporting documentation.
    • Support budgeting, forecasting and commercial planning through relevant pricing, volume and margin analysis.
    • Continuously improve pricing processes, tools and reporting methods to strengthen the speed, accuracy and quality of commercial decision-making.

    Requirements

    • A Diploma or bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, Economics, Business Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Marketing, Supply Chain or a related field.
    • 2 to 5 years’ experience in pricing analysis, commercial analysis, market intelligence, financial analysis, sales analytics or a related analytical role.
    • Good knowledge of pricing principles, commercial analysis, market intelligence and margin management.
    • Strong analytical ability with the capability to interpret large data sets and turn information into practical business insights.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
    • An understanding of manufacturing cost drivers, product costing, sales channels and commercial profitability.
    • Customer and competitor awareness, together with curiosity for market movement and commercial trends.
    • Experience in a manufacturing, flooring, building materials, textile or consumer goods environment would be advantageous. Experience with Power BI, ERP systems, CRM systems and pricing tools would also be advantageous.

    Head of Marketing

    Purpose

    • The Head of Marketing is accountable for leading Belgotex’s marketing strategy to strengthen brand equity, accelerate profitable growth, increase customer demand and support the achievement of commercial objectives across priority market segments.
    • The role translates business strategy into integrated brand, product, digital, trade, channel and customer engagement plans that grow market share, improve customer experience, support sales effectiveness and position Belgotex as a trusted, innovative and commercially relevant flooring solutions brand.

    Responsibilities 

    • Develop and implement an integrated marketing strategy aligned with Belgotex’s business, brand, sales and growth objectives.
    • Lead brand positioning, messaging and customer value propositions across relevant markets and channels.
    • Drive campaigns and initiatives that generate qualified leads, strengthen sales pipeline and support conversion.
    • Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to align marketing activity with customer priorities, product launches and growth opportunities.
    • Lead product marketing, launch planning, product storytelling, category messaging and value-proposition development.
    • Use customer insights, competitor intelligence, market research and campaign analytics to guide marketing and commercial decisions.
    • Lead digital marketing across website, search, social media, email, marketing automation and CRM-enabled activities.

    Requirements

    • At least 5 years’ experience in a senior marketing leadership role with people-management accountability.
    • Strong knowledge of brand strategy, product marketing, digital marketing, campaign management and customer insight.
    • Experience across marketing analytics, CRM, trade marketing, agency management, budget control and commercial performance reporting.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, website analytics, social-media platforms, reporting dashboards and project-management tools.

    Organisational Development Manager

    Learning and Development Specialist

    Purpose

    • The Learning and Development Specialist is to design, coordinate, implement and evaluate learning and development initiatives that build organisational capability, support employee growth and strengthen business performance.

    • Sound knowledge of learning and development practices, adult learning principles and workplace skills planning.
    • Working knowledge of South African skills development legislation and frameworks, including SETA requirements, Workplace Skills Plans and Annual Training Reporting.
    • Strong facilitation, communication, planning and stakeholder management skills.
