• You love data and are not intimidated by lots of it! Operations and Maintenance is the name of your game and you have a keen eye for project details.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

• You are the go to engineer for the project managing team in your new company. You are able to assist in the commissioning and help with all engineering services in the department. A very important duty is your capacity to work with large amounts of data and you know how to automate monthly reports. You have either done this before or know how to implement these database management systems. Seeing that you love the finer details of the projects and ensuring that the projects run smoothly, this is no problem for you.
• You will also be involved in designing system repairs and predict project costings- easy peasy for you.

Where you’ll be doing it

• You will be working for a leading renewables energy company specializing in off-grid and grid-tied solutions. Your team consists of 6 people and counting. This company is growing and you will be part of exciting new things to come!

What you’ll need

• You have a degree in electrical, mechatronics, electo-mechanical or mechanical engineering and are eligible for ECSA registration if not already. You have at least 2 year’s experience in O&M with a strong electrical background and you are a problem solver by nature.
• You understand how to automate data and work with large amounts of data and you are experienced in database management systems.
• Then what is very important is that you have a PASSION for renewables! You love green energy and want to be part of this sustainable world!
• You are also a team player, an excellent communicator and can work more than one project at a time.
